  • How far is the airport?
   
It is a 45km drive from the airport of Chania (code CHQ) and a 150km drive from the airport of Heraklion (code HER).

  • How close are the beaches?

The nearby beach of Almirida is only 3km away from the villas. It is a blue flagged sandy beach with an organised section featuring sun beds, umbrellas, changing rooms and showers. There are many seaside shops and restaurants. The beach of Kalives is about 10km away The gorgeous beach of  Georgoupolis with its 10km sandy coast is 10 km away. The exquisite beach of Balos is 40 km away.   • Are basic supply provisions available upon arrival?

We supply toiletries such as washing soap, shampoo and after shower body lotion plus toilet paper and dishwasher tablets. We can also stock the villa for just the cost of the items on your grocery list which you may send us prior to your arrival.

  • Which areas are worth visiting during our stay?

Crete is a blessed island with incredible landscape featuring beaches of all kinds, mountains and picturesque villages. The city of Chania with its beautiful port and intense night life is 25 km away. The city of Rethymno with its picturesque old port is about 80km away. There are several beautiful villages in the Apokoron valley such as Kalives, Plaka, Vamos, Vrisses, Georgoupolis and Stilos offering the visitor breathtaking sea views and mountain views.

  • What kind of activities and sports are available in the area?

Hiking on mountain paths, swimming, fly fishing, basketball in the village of Vamos, water sports on nearby organized beach of Almirida or Georgoupolis, small cruise by boat from Chania to Balos or coastal cruising along Souda bay, visiting the palace of Knossos or the Minoan city of Faistos.

  • Do you provide beach towels?

  • What is the check-in and check-out time?

Check in time is 3 pm while check out is at 12 noon. Early check in or prolonged check out is possible after arrangements are made.

We can arrange airport transfers to and from the villas. Up to 4 guests the cost is 50 euros for Chania airport and 100 euros for Heraklion airport per transfer. A mini bus is used for groups greater than 4 and the cost is 100 euros for Chania airport and 200 euros for Heraklion airport. Some local car rental agencies offer free transfers as part of a rental agreement.   • What part of the year are the pools operational?

The pools operate from March 1 to October 30.

  • Is there a babysitting service available? Are there any baby cots available?

Babysitting is available with rates varying between 20€ to 40€ per day, depending on duration. Up to two baby cots and two high chairs per villa are available free of charge.

  • How do I book a villa?

Please let us know the villa you are interested in, the dates of arrival and departure and the number of guests in your travelling group. Please note that some of our villas have switch over days such as Saturdays or Tuesdays while others have complete flexibility. We will respond within 24 hrs or sooner to let you know availability and cost. If you decide to proceed with the booking we will send you a lease form and instructions for down payment. Once we receive the signed lease form and the down payment we'll block the dates and confirm the booking.
